Due to regulatory & compliance rules and quality & liability concerns, we cannot repair our heating pads. We do NOT recommend trying to repair or replace any components yourself as it will likely cause a safety hazard.

We have great confidence in our products and back them up with one- or two-year warranties (varies by products) from the date of purchase. We also date-code our heating pads to allow us to verify when they were made and can use this if the proof of purchase is not available.

We will replace any Thermophore® heat pack which fails due to a manufacturing defect and that was purchased within two years of the failure. We require that warranty units be returned to us by the consumer at the consumer’s expense. We reserve the right to inspect any pad that is returned to us to confirm that a failure is due to a product defect. Our other products are covered by our one-year warranty.

  • Before sending back any unit for inspection, you will need to contact our Customer Service Department to receive a return authorization number. Please make sure to have your lot number ready so we can assist you as quickly as possible. To find the lot number, please read the following directions:

 

The lot number is stamped directly on the material of your heating pad, so you will need to take the cover completely off to see it. The lot number is not on a tag or a label, and it’s either at the very top or very bottom really close to the seam. It’s a black stamp with only numbers and no letters.

 

For all other Battle Creek Equipment products, you will need to provide a copy of your receipt for proof of purchase.
